Turns out the lab leak theory just might be right, as we've known all along.

Can we just step back for just a minute, please?

We'll get into the Wall Street Journal Report and the media reaction, all of that stuff.

But let's just let's go all the way back.

The original theory that was floated out there was that China has wet markets and that these wet

markets where you can, I mean, you buy these endangered animals to feast upon and whatnot.

And there was a theory that the coronavirus had jumped from a bat through people, possibly buying bats

or buying animals that had been bitten by bats or some such.

There are lots of animals that give off lots of diseases that the Chinese love to eat

or some such at these wet markets.

And what was so weird at the time is when Tom Cotton was one of the very first people to advance the idea of the lab leak.

The media thought it was really racist to suggest it had come from a lab, but not racist to suggest it had come from a lab, but not racist at all to suggest it had come from a

backwoods diet in Wuhan, China. To be fair to people at the time, I really do want you to understand this. To be fair to people at the time, there had

been a number of disease outbreaks that had come from these wet markets in China. And so it was a

logical assumption that COVID had also come from the wet markets in China.

It was a logical assumption, but it was not the only assumption.
