I suspect that probably, you know, it's a slow news day, which kind of makes it fun because

I get to find other stuff to talk about besides just the news and politics of the day.

Henry Kissinger is dead at 100 hundred. He crossed the century mark in May of this year.

Memento Mori is the Latin phrase. Remember that you have to die. Remember that you die.

We all die. All of us die. There's a generational shift from men like Kissinger. The left, of course, immediately rushed to claim he was a war criminal,

to claim that he was a monster of some kind, that they've lost their minds. It's always fascinated to me the number of atheists who suddenly believe in hell when a conservative they don't like dies.

Kissinger wasn't really a conservative.

He was a man of the right.

And he didn't get everything right.

I have issues with some of his foreign policy.

For example, I think the biggest criticism of Henry Kissinger is not that he decided to bomb Cambodia,

but that he decided to not just strengthen our ties with China,

but then to financially profit from them over time such that he has not been able to see up to the moment of his death what China was becoming.

I don't fault Kissinger for the many things.

So many people on the left fault him for accusing him of war crimes.

The very same people are perfectly fine with Hamas chopping off the heads of babies saying,

well, I mean, it's understandable.

It's not a war crime.
