I actually want to start with Jeff's phone call before I get into any other topic.

Man, we're doing all right.

How about you, Eric? Good. What's going on?

So I had something I wanted just to share with you. I didn't know what to do with it, but my daughter,

who is a freshman at the University of Georgia, sent me a picture of a test question that she got.

And I mean, I know things are liberal and it's kind of hard to shock me.

But I was a bit shocked by this question.

It's a true false question.

And it reads like this.

Today, many Republican politicians are focused on stirring up culture wars, including book banning prohibitions against teaching about racism in the curriculum,

showing opposition to wokeness, restricting the freedom of the LGBT

community, and dividing people against each other based on their group identities, period.

Pointing this out in a multicultural class that must focus on the politics of institutional

racism, classism, sexism, et cetera, sometimes results in students exercising avoidance by referring to higher education merely as so-called liberal agenda, true or false.

Okay?

I didn't know what to do with that.
