Jim Jordan lost 20 Republicans.

He will not be Speaker of the House.

Bob Good of Virginia urging him to stay in as many ballots as necessary to wear him down.

I will tell you, a member of Congress texted me and he said, can't reward the hostage takers.

Can't reward the hostage takers.

He believes this member of Congress that by supporting Jim Jordan, who he's not predisposed to,

he doesn't hate Jordan, but he thinks it's a reward to Mad Gates.

And he's still upset about what happened with Kevin McCarthy.

And he's not willing to go along with Jordan because he believes that that was the ultimate

end game by Nancy Mason, Matt Gates and the others.

He doesn't want to reward them,

so he's not willing to vote for Jim Jordan. There were 20 Republicans like that. That's actually

a worse outcome than what Kevin McCarthy had to begin with. So the gap to close is bigger,

and several of these people are saying absolutely not because of like what this member of

Congress texted me, that this would be negotiating with the hostage takers and rewarding the

hostage takers. It would reward Matt Gates. This plunges the house, of course, into further
