submission reminded me of something similar that happened to me. On season 11, episode 5,

John told a story about hearing a conversation while lying in bed.

And this was somewhat similar to a very strange experience I had about 25 years ago.

I used to work as a firefighter, and one night at the firehouse, I went to lay down in the dorm room.

My captain was still in the day room, and I could faintly hear the TV he was watching.

This fire station is famously haunted, and guys have had a lot of strange experiences here.

Paranormal, lots of nightmares, even some possible UFO abduction type dreams.

But this was a one-of-a-kind incident. I never heard a similar story from any other firefighters.

As I lay there trying to fall asleep, I noticed that I could faintly hear what sounded like a war movie, except it was real.
