We have three paths those of us on the right can go.

We can go the path of the world police force, spread democracy around the world, go back to that mistaken worldview.

There are some cultures that are not going to embrace American-style democracy. I think we should have learned

that lesson now in among all other places, Iraq. There is the worldview that we can stay

home. We can retreat from the world stage, let everybody else have at it. We don't have

enough money to take care of ourselves. We certainly can't take care of the rest of the world. We can't send our armies and navies and Marines where we need to go. So let's just sit it out. Secure our border and stay home. That is a growing trend on the right.

I hope when the madness calms that is flowing through the right now, we will be able to realize that in the real world, if we're surrounded by realists, there are those who are our allies who need our help and causes that are just, that does not mean we are the world police force.

But sometimes we have to engage to deter the enemy.

And there are enemies.
