David, welcome to the program.

Hey, Eric, great to be here, which was better circumstances, but great to be here.

Yeah, okay.

So, you know, just I want to timestamp this for people because we're talking if you're

listening to delay.

It's October 6th. It's 107, the Dow's up 239, the NASDAQ up 160,

but there's been so much turmoil with, we've got a really good jobs number that now

people are fretting the Federal Reserve may keep rates higher for longer because of it.

And at the same time, we've got this bond yield that is really starting to spook everybody on Wall Street and in Washington

because it's so much higher than the Congressional Budget Office says we can have to maintain budget discipline.

How do you synthesize what's going on out there right now?

Yeah, I mean, it's a mess.

I mean, we got the jobs number this morning, and it's funny because initially I was really excited about that, right? The number was 336,000 jobs, which on the surface, you're saying, wait a second, this is great. We've got a growing economy. We're creating hundreds of thousands of jobs. but when you peel back the onion,

it's actually not as good as it looks on the surface.
