The reality is that there is a complete meltdown happening on the left.

Philip Gorovich is a staff writer of the New Yorker,

the magazine, and he's responding to this. It's evening, isn't it, an 80-year-old president's whirlwind trip. President Biden went to Asia with a diplomatic to-do list, but he also wanted to show he remains up to the rigors of globetrotting statesmanship. That's the New York Times story, to which Philip Gorovich replies. Biden pulls off an extremely impressive diplomatic mission, and instead of explaining what all he did, you troll his age and fitness with a crack he made to reporters who were themselves

bleary trying to keep up with his energy and focus. This is just gross.

Democrats are getting really, really sensitive. Here's Chuck Todd on Meet the Press yesterday.

For the Democrats, the issue, of course,

is Biden's age. In a CNN poll this week, nearly seven and ten Democrats said the party

should dominate, quote, a different candidate than Joe Biden. And it was the biggest concern

among 49% of all Democrats. The biggest concern was Biden's age. Overall, just 28% of Americans

say Biden inspires confidence. That's down

24 points from two years ago when he was just four months into his presidency. And this comes after

the remarkable moment where Joe Biden's staff cut his microphone on stage at a press conference.
