We are 25 days away from a government shutdown.

Now, I occasionally voice ideas on this program my audience disagrees with.

There is a segment of my audience that abhors the idea of a government shutdown,

much as there is a portion of my audience that thinks speed cameras around schools are a good thing.

Do you know, as an aside, I one time had somebody chew me out for my opposition

to those speed cameras around schools. Where I am here in Georgia now, there are these cameras,

and you would think that they work during the schools all this, if they don't, they're all day long,

and if you go within 10 miles, there could be no kid in sight, absolutely nothing.

The school could be so far set back from the road and they put that camera.

It's just a scam and there's no due process and it's a tax on poor people.

I am so vehemently opposed to the red light cameras and the automatic speed detection as opposed to having place.

It's such a constitutional violation, I believe.

And I've got friends of mine who are like, you know, I thought you were off your rocker.

And then it happened to me.

It shouldn't have to happen to you to know they're wrong.
