Now, I got to return to the volcano. It's actually kind of interesting.

I mentioned last week that in all of the press coverage of the remarkable heat wave in this country,

that no one is talking about the Tongan volcano.

Now, this is different from last year and even at the beginning of this year.

In January of last year, the, and I love the name, the Hungatanga.

It's like the Hunga, Hunga, Tonga is like the Hungry Hungry Hippo volcano.

It's an underwater volcano near the island of Tonga, exploded very forcefully,

launched a tsunami onto Tonga, just had a devastating impact.

And at the time, scientists knew that it had blown a massive amount of water vapor into

the stratosphere, and water vapor has a heating effect.

And so scientists were warning all of last year and the beginning

of this year that for the next several years, we're going to see hotter than normal global

temperatures because of the volcano. But as the heat wave arrived in this country and around the

world, media outlets have abandoned honest coverage of what's

happening in favor of man-made climate change. That that's to blame, that we've reached the tipping

point, that the predictions are true. They've all arrived. And now we've got to do something

immediately. They've ignored the

volcano and this is part of the progressive ethos of never letting a crisis go to waste. And progressives
