And I'm going to go down a rabbit hole.

And I want you to know that I'm going down a rabbit hole. I promise I'm going to come back out of the rabbit hole.

You got to be prepared because I'm going to go deep down a rabbit hole.

But then I promise I'm going to come back out of the rabbit hole.

I want to start with some passages from the Bible.

Uh-huh, yeah.

Told you, we're going to go down a rabbit hole.

There's this warning that comes up again and again and again in Scripture.

And it comes from Jesus. It comes from Paul. It comes from Jesus. It comes from Jesus'

from Jesus' brothers, James, who wrote one of the books of the Bible.

It comes from his brother Jude, who wrote another book of the Bible.

And we see this time and time again, this cropping up, even Peter, one of the other apostles

warns of it. So Jesus and Matthew 24 says, at that time, if anyone says to you, look, here is the

Messiah or there he is, do not believe it. For false messias and false prophets will appear and

perform great signs and wonders

to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

That means even people in the church.
