We must discuss the rise of anti-Semitism in the country.

This happened two blocks from where I am.

In fact, I was at a wedding this weekend,

and Philip sent me the link,

and at first I didn't realize why he was sending

me the link to the story. It was more than a little disturbing to me. John Mnadeo Jr., who leads

what's called the Goyam Defense League was arrested on two charges

protesting outside Temple Beth Israel in Bibb County, Georgia.

They were minor charges.

One was disorderly conduct.

Bond was set at $910.

So they showed up in my town.

They protested outside Timbalbeth Israel, which is two blocks from me. My friend

Larry Schlesinger, he and I were on city council together. He had been the rabbi there. He's since

retired. I know members of that congregation. They are good people.

And this guy decided to spread anti-Jewish hate.
