I can't I can't dawdle here, but I would be remiss if I did not note today would have been

Rush Limbaugh's 71st birthday. And I miss that guy terribly. You know, I wouldn't be doing

what I'm doing, but for him literally

would not be doing. He pushed me into taking this job and radio. I wasn't sure I wanted. He was a real

friend and a mentor. But nobody in talk radio would be doing what they're doing, but for him.

Not just me. I miss that guy. So, y'all, he gave me the best advice and was always willing to give me advice.

I could email him.

I don't know that he ever slept day or night.

I could email him.

We were having conversations sometimes at three and four o'clock in the morning when he had a show to do the next day.

He was a tremendous friend.

I miss him dearly.

And happy birthday to him.
