Three weeks ago, without a lot of fanfare and a lot of defensiveness by CNN, CNN Plus was

launched.

Nobody watches Don Lemon, and for some reason, CNN thought people might actually pay to watch

It didn't make any sense.

So this was Jeff Zucker's big play.

Jeff Zucker looked at the world and thought that it needed another streaming service.

And one specifically by a news network that increasingly people were burning out on from the left to the right,

particularly on the

right. It had lost a lot of credibility. And so he decided to launch CNN Plus. And he was going to do

more of the Anthony Bourdain style docu drama series sort of stuff as opposed to hard news. And it didn't
