They released the inflation numbers and it's bad. Now, we knew it was going to be bad because on Friday,

Jin Sacky, the White House press secretary started saying it was going to probably be bad.

And the initial numbers did not look good. The estimates did not look good over the weekend.

They started saying it even more.

Well, yeah, the consumer price index.

We're at the highest rate since 1981.

It is bad, really bad.

And it's probably not going to get any better.

We are expecting Republicans to make a really big deal out of this.

Duh.

You know, I want to actually spend some time in raw politics right now out of the gate.

Normally, I try to take the headlines and do the headlines first to get to this later,

but I wasn't able to be here yesterday.

Man, y'all, okay, so, you know, I had to take off yesterday.

Thanks for Alan Sanders, fill it in. My son had a soccer game and a football game and my wife

is still recovering from COVID. So I needed to drive him. And it was like two hours, two hour

drive there, two hour drive back. And at 10 a.m. they canceled the soccer game because the other school forgot they had

standardized tests this week.

So, but I went to, Alan was already doing show rep and stuff.

So I had so much other work to do.
