Got a lot of great calls and I got to talk about Republican anger of the Democrats,

but I promised to talk about something first.

And I really did want to talk about it right now.

One of the many questions I keep getting is why can't some states count their ballots

fast?

And it allows people with bad motive to suggest conspiracies or theft when it's not happening

to suggest that, oh, well, they

got to look at the ballots and see who it is and they move slow so they can change it.

You know, there was a time in this country where that happened in the local level, and it still

does in some places.

We shouldn't be that dismissive of it.

It does happen in some places, but to affect statewide elections, it becomes very hard to do.

Usually people can't keep secrets. They get caught oftentimes because you have to have Democratic and Republican observers.

It can be caught. It isn't a common thing that happens. What actually is happening is compliance with outdated laws that need to be changed.

I need to go back in the way back machine, but not too far back.

I need to go back to the year 2000.

In the year 2000, in the state of Florida, every county designed its ballot.

There was not really a uniform standard.

There was just some guidance in you got to have the federal candidates and then the statewide candidates and then the state legislative candidates.
