about what is being said in private I'm happy to take your phone calls as well 877779373-725, but we've got to talk about this.

It is no easy thing.

If I'm really honest with you about it, it's actually no easy thing to oftentimes say things

publicly that you think privately. It's harder and harder in this country.

It's one thing I try very hard to do is to never tell you something in public I don't actually believe

and to never say privately things that differ from what I say publicly. I think even though you may disagree with me, like, for example, on the election being stolen,

I know many of you think the election was stolen in 2020 and I don't.

And I'm willing to tell you what I actually believe and what I think many people don't understand, don't believe, and won't believe,

though it's true, is that very many of the people who publicly tell you the election was

stolen privately don't believe it. I know plenty of those people. Maybe they're telling me

what I want to hear.

But if so, that raises questions.

When you get behind closed doors and they tell you the election wasn't stolen,

but in public they're telling you it is, well, are they telling me what I want to hear?

Or are they telling you what you want to hear?

This is happening on both sides.

It's not a partisan phenomenon.

Both political parties do this.

For example, a lot of Republicans for years have declared themselves pro-life
