one of us has been in a meeting for the last three hours, but nevertheless, I will

endeavor to perform radio brilliance for you today, because I got a lot to say about a lot of

stuff, uh, without having to revisit a bunch of topics from earlier in the week.

The first one that I want to talk about is Dan Price.

You know, it is, it's hard sometimes when you prepare a show like this. So let me, let me pull back the curtain just a little bit here for you.

I get asked this a lot.

How do you, how do you do your show prep?

What do you prep for? What do you cover?

I am actually a profound believer in news talk, not just talk.

There are times I want to talk to you about topics. Yesterday, we had a lady

call and say, can you give us some hope? And it's been a whole segment trying to encourage

this, this listener. But I just, I think that the, the ownership of most radio stations in America these days are owned by people who don't take the medium seriously anymore.

Now, I don't mean disrespect to anyone who may be one of my bosses listening.

Just hear me out here.

The majority of companies in this country who control radio, particularly conservative talk

radio, many of the people who control conservative talk radio aren't conservatives.

They just know that it brings in money.

But they're concerned about the future of radio and how radio performs.

I don't think some of the things that are being done to save radio are smart.

But what I do think is that radio provides a service and not just a free service to people,
