I find it very interesting that our public health community,

our public health leaders are deeply concerned and freaked out about monkeypox.

They're distributing monkeypox vaccines.

They are worried it is evolving so fast.

It is spreading beyond the community of gay men where it originated, but still almost overwhelmingly is within that community.

And I got to say something that is not meant to offend and I will be diplomatic, I promise.

I just find it very striking that during COVID, our public health officials were very, very clear with all of us.

That you need to stay away from your grandmother and your grandfather

and all of your loved ones or else you could kill them

because of COVID.

But the very same public health officials
