Sometimes you have to talk about the news you don't want to talk about.

y'all, you know, you sometimes you get these stories and you got to do your diligence on them.

You've got to cover them for people.

It's not the stuff you and I want to talk about.

I remember a very dear friend of mine who did research in radio topics of what radio stations should and should not cover.

You know one of the topics that was in the news every day that radio stations and TV stations and newspapers,

even though it was in the national news, the locally, local news, local radio, local TV,

didn't cover the opioid crisis.

National news stories.

CNN covered it, Fox covered it, MSNBC covered it, ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, NPR,

the New York Times, USA Today, they all covered it.

Local news, local media rarely covered it.
