This is just truly remarkable.

Yesterday on July 4th, activists, or I guess it was actually what, two days ago now on July 4th, I would read this tweet from a reporter, Ford Fisher.

He's a documentarian.

Activists sat on the Beltway in Washington, D.C.

That's, I think, what is 395 around D.C.?

They sat on the interstate declaring a climate emergency.

They blocked traffic, shut down the interstate, and agitated driver got physical with them.

He said he's on parole.

If he's late for his job, he can be reported, and they will send him back to prison

if he's late for his job.

And the all-white activists refused to let that guy's car pass so that he could make it to work.

And then when the police showed up, they arrested that man who was begging to be able to go to work so he didn't go to jail.

And they sent the man to jail for harassing the protesters.

What an absurd, insane world we live in.
