Former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Colin Powell, has died of COVID complications.

It's perturbing how quickly people wish to seize on this to make an anti-vaccine narrative.

It's kind of disappointing, actually, to see people grab hold of this and try to claim that somehow the vaccines clearly don't work because Powell had it.

And I got to tell you, the media to a degree is playing a hold of this.

Here's the New York Times headline, Colin Powell, who was the first black national security advisor,

first black chairman of the Joint Chiefs and staff,

and first black secretary of state in U.S. history died at 84 of COVID-19.

His family says he was fully vaccinated.
