Summary

The accusations against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis continue to get increasingly personal in nature since her acknowledgment of her relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade. The latest episode of Season 10 – “The Trump Indictment” – of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Breakdown podcast covers more motions that call for Willis’ disqualification from the election interference case against former President Donald Trump and 14 co-defendants. 0:07.8	It came in a 28-page brief with 148 pages of exhibits.
0:13.7	Willis's acknowledgement comes on page 15 of that response and it reads,

1:11.0	Not only that, we're expecting another reply from attorney Ashley Merchant in the coming days.
1:16.4	She's the lawyer for Michael Roman who first leveled accusations that Willis and Wade had an
1:20.9	improper romantic relationship that constituted such a conflict of
1:25.0	interest that the DA in her office should be disqualified from the case.
1:29.0	We're more than ready for this dispute to be resolved one way or another.
1:33.0	And we finally got the presidential immunity ruling from the DC Circuit Court of Appeals.
