Without me knowing what Mr. Wade would say, it seems to me that Mr. Wade would be the first and best source of information on what his income has been and how he's been spending it and

that he would have first-hand knowledge of whether he's engaged in an

extramarital affair. It's just a sleazy mess I think is the only way I can describe it.

Last week we filled you in on Wade versus Wade, the divorce case that's overwhelming the

Donald Trump election interference case in Fulton County.

We were preparing for a dramatic hearing on Wednesday when special prosecutor Nathan Wade was expected to take the stand.

There he would have undoubtedly been questioned about whether he was or had been in a romantic relationship with district attorney Fani Willis.

Well, none of that came to pass. A little more than 12 hours before the hearing was

scheduled to begin, we learned that a temporary divorce

settlement had been struck between Wade and his estranged wife Joicillin because of

that the hearing was cancelled. The news were sure was welcomed by the Fulton County

DA's office. That hearing could have resulted in headaches and potentially

even embarrassing information coming out all in front of the local and national press.

We don't know the terms of the settlement, all of that is private, but it's not final yet, so

it's possible things could end in a trial.

But it really does increasingly look like

DA Willis won't have to testify under oath in the divorce case, which must be a
