This is Susan Lambert and welcome to a very special edition of Science of Reading the podcast from Amplify.

Across our 12 episodes this season, I've learned so much about comprehension that that's going to be the theme of my upcoming session at the Plain Talk about literacy and learning

conference this year. If you can't be there, it's okay. I am going to talk about some of those

biggest learnings in this episode. You know, comprehension feels like this scary kind of idea

that is just an outcome and just happens magically, and it doesn't.

So on this episode, I'm not going to be joined by any guests.
