Hey, friends. Welcome back to the Old Fashioned on Purpose Podcast.

0:03.1

So I'm taking a little bit of a break from our theme of talking to some of my favorite

0:08.3

authors this season. And I wanted to do a solo episode to fill you in on something kind

0:13.9

of interesting that happened to me here on the homestead this spring. As the first

0:18.8

time this has ever happened to me. And I learned a lot from this whole adventure. You want

0:24.0

to call it that. So I thought I would share this story with you because I have a feeling

0:28.2

that maybe you've had this issue as well. So I did share this in a YouTube video a couple

0:32.5

of months ago. So this is a little bit of a repeat of that information. But I know I have

0:35.8

a group of people who watch YouTube and I have a group of people who listen to the podcast

1:04.8

the whole story. Also some of you may not be on Instagram. You might have missed it. So

1:09.2

anyway, big learning opportunity for me this year. And the story begins with my seed starting

1:17.6

this year. So I've talked a ton about starting seeds. We have blog posts on it in videos and

1:23.4

I've done podcast episodes. You guys know, or most of you should know, I start my seeds from scratch,

1:28.4

almost pretty much every year. The last decade. And I do tomatoes and peppers and the whole

1:34.7

nine yards. And I have, you know, Baker racks in my basement with fluorescent shop lights. And I

1:39.4

start the seeds in little containers and potting soil. And you know, off we go, it's just really

1:44.7

simple. I've explained it lots of different platforms. And it's really basic. And it's always worked
