0:40.0	Hi Hazel, when should my period return if I've stopped taking the pill and what should I do if it doesn't?

1:01.0	So, in theory, after stopping the pill, periods should return within four weeks, but not everyone will find this. I would say that it's reasonable to wait for about three months for it to return and if it doesn't return by
1:15.3	then it would be wise to go see your doctor and explore some reasons why.
1:20.4	Now depending on how long it's been they may want to do some investigations to see if the
1:25.2	pill has been masking any underlying conditions such as P.C.S. or Aminarita.
1:30.9	It's also really important for me to say that you can still get pregnant as soon as you come off the pill.
1:36.0	So it's really important to use another form of contraception if you do stop and don't wish to get pregnant.
