we head into the tunnel and hope that the scientists on both sides can figure out a way to reopen the gate.

Then Remy and I can finally go home.

So hopefully this is my last day over here.

I can't say visiting a parallel world

that was ever something on my bucket list,

but I'm kind of glad it happened. I've learned a lot by seeing what it's like over here.

Alex told me how it was when the quarantine started, how you were all in school one day and then suddenly you weren't and how in the beginning most people didn't leave their houses at all

except maybe to shop for groceries or go for walks.

Now I see people out and about and they're mostly wearing masks or other face coverings.

At first, I thought the masks were to keep you from getting sick. But Alex explained that

actually you wear the masks to keep other people from getting sick. You're

doing it for each other and that's pretty amazing.
