Hi, it's Remy. Today is Tuesday, April 28th, and okay, I have now listened to yesterday's podcast about 150 times and I still don't know what to think. The other Remy is like me but not like me and they have no pandemic and

Alex and I are going to have to do another brainstorming session.

He's been reading every single nerdy thing ever written about alternate universes and dimensions

and hopefully that will keep my brain from exploding.

But before I bring him in, I know I talk a lot about the things I'm missing while we're all stuck inside, but while I was soaking my feet at mom's spa this weekend, I also started to think about how lucky I am to have my family. We're all

okay and healthy and together. I know a lot of people are having a really hard

time right now and we all want to help

however we can. So I thought I'd have a special guest. She is a friend of our

family and she works at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. We used to

volunteer there a lot as a family. It's a really incredible place that helps so

many people.

So tell me what the Community Food Bank of New Jersey does.

Well, Remy, like many food banks across the country,

the Community Food Bank of New Jersey exists to fight hunger and poverty by assisting those in need,

and we try and seek long-term solutions too. We work together with volunteers, donors,

and a network of a thousand local partners in New Jersey

to fill the emptiness caused by hunger with food, help, and hope.

That's amazing.

And how are things different now during the pandemic?
