So, when I was 13, 14, we listened to the early Genesis and Peter Gabriel's first solo

That was when I was like 12, 13, that was it.

The voice would come on and we'd be in the bedroom and I'm like, oh my God.

You know, looking for something, he's still listening to me.

And then I remember in 1980, the first pretenders album, I played that record so many times,

I thought it was the greatest record I'd ever heard.

I still think it's one of the greatest records of all time.

For those of you who haven't heard it, you must listen to that record.

And those two things didn't go together and then I listened to the residents a lot.
