0:31.6	Today we're going through chapters 3, 32, and 33, which
0:36.4	continue to describe the restoration that was to come. These are beautiful

0:42.8	Chapter 31 starts off by telling us about the everlasting love that God
0:47.3	extends to his people.
0:49.5	It is this love that ensures the continued faithfulness of God. He is
0:55.0	us. He is faithful to love us. He is faithful to rebuild,
0:58.5	causing his people to rejoice.
1:00.8	That is Jerusalem's future.
1:03.0	God will preserve a remnant coming through on his covenant promises.
1:07.0	He will gather his people and watch over them.
1:10.0	He will turn their mourning to dancing he will bring consolation he will turn their
1:15.7	lament to joy but you guys what we read about here is actually a glorious
1:22.0	picture of what is to come for all of us in Jesus Christ.
1:26.0	It's describing our future when Jesus returns and consummates his kingdom,
1:31.0	bitter weeping in Rama, Rachel weeping for her children.
1:35.1	This is a part of the story of redemption, but it's not the end.
