This episode came out of a conversation over dinner that we had with the detectives about the fight, flight, or freeze reaction people experience when they find themselves in high-stress situations.

returned home. I was driving an SUV at the time, And I parked in front of the house under a streetlight.

And I was finishing up a phone conversation with my boyfriend at the time.

So I had been in the car on the phone, the parked car, for about 10 minutes, roughly.

When I finished the call, I get out of my car and walk around the car to the sidewalk to open the passenger's side to get my bag out, just as I'm doing that.

Someone crawls out, kind of like Spider-Man, from underneath my car and pops up right in front of my face.
