he was taking advantage of you and a lot of people's goodwill towards this exciting

car culture. But

he's a tough person because you can't get the day off your back. You know, what can we do?

On a fateful day in 2005, Sean Morris walked into a Starbucks on Flower Street in Los Angeles.

He was meeting with his old boss, Aroki Nanahoshi. Hero ran a company called MotorX where Sean

used to work. That was now in deep trouble. The company was supposed to be importing Nissan Skyline

GTRs from Japan, but orders were late and dozens of annoyed customers were hounding hero about

their missing cars. Sean had walked away from MotorX a few years back, no longer willing to

deal with Hero, who seemed more interested in partying at Japanese hostess bars and flashing

cash than taking care of his business. Sean on the other hand was in it for the cars,

those beautiful Skylines that just wanted to go home to their rightful owners. Hero agreed to

let Sean help him with the back-ordered cars, but it never happened. A few weeks later, Hero was

arrested and put on $1 million bail, charged with attempted extortion. Rumors were flying around

that he had doctored papers and sold the same car to multiple people in a crazy sort of Ponzi scheme.

Today on Pascasse, it's the rise and fall of MotorX and how Aroki Nanahoshi, who was once seen

as the savior of the Nissan Skyline in the United States, turned into the villain.
