In the last episode, you heard Jason Joyner, Stephen's cousin, telling us his point of view of

Stephen's childhood. We couldn't get a hold of Jody, Stephen's sister, to do a full-length

recorded interview. However, we reviewed the notes from the interview we had with her earlier

in the year. We quickly realized that they had vastly different

points of view. When interviewing Jody, she had mentioned how close-knit the community was. She mentioned

that kids were always out on the street playing and that Stephen had a lot of friends. She mentioned

him going to neighbor his houses a lot, and a lot of kids were his age. She even said that a lot of

Stevens and other family members had lived on the street. She said he had played with them in a lot of kids were his age. She even said that a lot of Stephen's cousins and other family members

had lived on the street. She said he had played with them in a lot as well. People would be seen

walking around the neighborhood and socializing with other members of the community. They were

just seen as well-adjusted members of society to the people around them. We also asked Jody about what the

house and family dynamic was like when they were younger.
