20th century Cadillac was the luxury vehicle of choice for presidents and movie stars.

These landyots were celebrated in pop songs by iconic artists like Aretha Franklin,

Bruce Springsteen, and the Clash.

But by the mid-90s, Cadillac was in a sad state.

Cars had lost half their market share, and it wasn't even clear whether General Motors
