Given that the show is fresh off its first episode, I'm still a little short on listeners-submitted calls.

So tonight I'm going to do something a little different.

With a little luck, I'll be back to my normal format next week, but for tonight, I want to touch on a few mysterious calls made to emergency service telephone lines.

Calls the report something strange in the woods.

Ever since the 911 emergency telephone service was created in the 1960s, bizarre calls have come through.

Some calls are simply pranks, others mere misidentifications, but still others report odd lights in the sky or otherworldly beings that are simply too weird to ignore.

Tonight, I'm focusing on those 911 calls. More specifically, calls reporting an upright, hairy beast. Some would claim is Sasquatch.

Our first call of the evening comes to us from the San Antonio, Texas area.

The call was reportedly made on November 30th of 2009.
