and that's what's prompted us to launch this true crime podcast called Blood Ties.

Hi everyone, welcome back to the Blood Ties podcast. I'm Molly Wansall and I'm here with my dad, Jeffrey Wansall.

Hello everyone, welcome back. Yeah, so we're going to kick off again. Just a couple of things. I completely forgot last week to credit my amazing friend George Lee who did the brilliant caricature of me and dad and my dog Betsy for our logo.

So thanks George.

And also my brother, Dan, who did the music.

And there'll be a few more of his jingles, hopefully.

And thank you to Poppy, Damon, our producer, who's being brilliant and helps us out with everything.

And I've got to thank them too. We're very grateful to them both. And also to so many people who very

kindly sent me emails or suggestions saying they've listened to it. And lots of people have

responded incredibly well, which is incredibly encouraging. Yeah, the feedback from my friends has been

great. And mine. And a lot of the people I've talked to in publishing, because I've reviewed thrillers and crime novels for the Daily Mail, a lot of them saying, oh, yeah, well, if you fancied including an author interview, that would be wonderful. I said, well, I'm not quite at that stage yet, but everyone I've talked to literally, I said, it's wonderful, great.

Yeah, it's been really good. So, how's your week? I went to the wedding. I was okay.

Good. I actually made loads of nice people there were really nice, and I made loads of friends

in the church. I was not alone in the the milling section which is good because it lasted about

two and a half hours oh dear good yeah it was good i wasn't on my own i was always told that

uh uh ladies preferred weddings to men i think that's always my kind of standpoint i think men

always feel slightly edgy at weddings, and mostly women don't.

Is that because they know that their girlfriends want them to marry them?

Could be. I'm not an expert on that. But yes, it's an odd thing. Going to any event on your own is

challenging. Yeah, true, but it's got to be done.

Well, I have to say, I've always forced myself to do it.
