You know, this sounds naive and perhaps overly idealistic, but countries in trouble, the

people that I grew up with in this country, my dad as an example, they were economically

aspirational blue collar people.

In 35 short years, we turned those people from economically aspirational to economically

desperational, and I watched that happen, it's a tragedy, maybe I could be a part of

the solution.

Of course, when you go to Washington, you know, they have different set of values.

One of the funniest things Trump ever said to me, which I'll repeat here, is he said,

hey man, I thought I was a real estate mogul, I thought I was a killer, and I was working

with other real estate moguls that were killers, because the goddamn secretary said it was

to slice those people up, like into nice and just chop them up on a cutting board, and

the boy being washed is a totally different beast, okay?

You could be at a table with a person, they would pick your eyeball out with a nice pick,

and they'd drop your eyeball in a dirty martini, and then they're talking to you, you're bleeding

at the table, and they're talking to you like nothing happened, that's Washington, okay?

And so, you know, I wasn't ready for that, I was ill prepared for that, got my ass kicked.

When I leave for the White House, I'm open-minded to a whole host and a whole series of different

things, Ryan's previous didn't like me, now he was from West Concent, so he tries to act

like Richie had cunning cam on the outside, but he's like a Sith Lord on the inside, you

know what I mean?

The guy could have just said to me, hey, you know, I hate your guts, I'm going to be the

chief of staff, I don't want you working in the White House, I'm sorry, well that's
