I can't tell you how many questions I receive requesting guidance on helping kids with TMS. I figured.. how better to explain than to interview my own child? I raise my 5 kids with the knowledge that we live in a mind/body system. Sometimes we feel things in our hearts, and sometimes we feel things in our bodies. When it came to a scary diagnosis like Charlotte received last summer, we initially took the medical route to get some answers. When I realized that western medicine had taken us as far as we could go (that would be effective in helping her), we went full-on TMS recovery model, and it changed Charlotte's life. 0:36.0	man love love is really love is everything and I say that in like the most non-hyp way possible
0:44.8	love is everything because when I feel it when we feel it it just takes over in the best
0:52.0	possible way in the way I feel about this person my baby baby my littlest my youngest child is
1:01.6	um it feels my whole body every soul with every every every cell and every soul with with so much
1:08.9	love that I feel for her and that I know my love for my children and my family and my blue dog
1:16.4	um it it gets it gets out there it it transforms it transforms me into somebody who can love so
1:27.5	much and and help people and so anyway it was pretty profound experience for me to interview my
1:33.3	own child about a rather traumatic thing that happened last summer um to her and a little bit
1:39.5	to me because I love very big and so when you love like that and something happens to someone that
1:45.9	you love it can feel very big and very hard and I'm not going to tell too much of it in the intro but I
1:53.6	will say that um Charlotte was diagnosed last summer with a pretty serious condition in her
2:03.5	feet and and she is a very serious dancer for her age and she was very really thrown back by a
2:14.0	kid who is usually confident and easy breezy and everything is no worries and she's way more
2:21.4	chill than me let's just say that um was really thrown by this in a way that that rocked me because I
2:28.6	want her so badly to feel okay about herself and to feel like she's safe and so um this story of
2:37.1	what happened last summer was um was really profound for us and the way it went and the way I was
2:43.4	able to help her with TMS work with mind body medicine and the result which is Charlotte is completely
2:51.8	an utterly symptom free um she dances these bones in her feet which we're going to tell you all
2:58.4	about have absolutely no um effect on her and it was basically hobbling her she was she was limping
