Do you know anybody trying to buy a house right now?

No, but I'll tell you this. I live in Southern California, obviously, as do you, with my wife

and children, and I've been, I've lived here since 2017, and I've been terrified to even

attempt to buy a house the entire time and remain so, especially after the pandemic,

because it seems to be such a cluster

fuck minefield. Why do you ask? One of our mutual friends I was talking to was trying to buy a

house, either Austin or Dallas, lives in L.A., but just wants a place on the real world

to retire to one day, right? And he was talking about like, he was got like,

I will pay you half million dollars cash,

which is usually enough to buy a place in Texas.

He would want listing price,

500 tried that, couldn't find anybody to take 500.
