A lot of people think that, you know, you got convicted something wrong into trial, well, it's going to get caught on an appeal. And it just doesn't work that way. Appeals are not about innocence or guilt. Appeals are about where their technical errors made during the course of their trial were, was there a mistake in admitting or not admitting a certain piece of evidence? But they're not about the overall guilt or innocence of the defendant. |
