Before we get started tonight, I want to take a minute to discuss the passing of a Bigfooting legend.

Researcher and author John Green died on May 28th at the age of 89.

To say that Green was influential in the field of Bigfoot research would be an understatement.

He began his career as a journalist and later

transitioned to a field researcher and author. Many people credit his book, Sasquatch, The Apes

Among Us, as their introduction to the subject, a gateway that led many to their own fascination

with the creature. Here is a short clip of Green discussing the Ruby Creek incident of 1941.

By 1956, there had been several such reported sightings, which had been reported in small local newspapers.

Mr. John Green, publisher of a newspaper at Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, began investigating some of these sightings.

Here is John Green to report on a sighting he investigated in 1957.

When I first came here in about 1957, it was still pretty well open.

But all this has grown up since then.

So what happened at that time was that Mrs. George Chapman who lived in a house down by the river behind me here.
