Summary

Nohema Graber was a Spanish teacher in Fairfield Iowa and was described by friends and family to be warm and loving. She wrote in her journal how she made it a point to smile at all of her students because smiling is contagious and she wanted to spread more joy and love in the world. Not only was she kind and loving, she also had big dreams for all of her students and would challenge them to strive for more and work hard. But when Willard Miller was given a bad grade by Nohema that led his gpa to drop, he took the grade personal. 0:31.4	just gonna hop right into it Noemma Greybird was born on November 10th 1953 in Halapa Veda Cruz in
0:38.2	Mexico she was described growing up to be very loving to everyone she met ever since she was a kid
0:43.8	she's always really loved kids like she's always had a very maternal nature about her and it was her
0:49.6	dream one day to not only have kids but also work with children but before she wanted to settle down

1:00.4	she became a flight attendant for the Mejicana de Evicione Airlines that's when Noemma started to
1:06.4	get very interested in not just you know being a flight attendant but also flying the planes
1:11.9	and this was back in like the 1960s and 70s where women weren't really pilots so when Noemma was
1:18.8	trying to get her pilot license it definitely wasn't easy she decided to just save up all of her
1:24.5	money that she got from being a flight attendant and she paid her own way through flight school
1:29.4	and became one of the very first women in all of Mexico to be licensed to fly passenger jets
1:36.0	this was a huge deal because as I said this was back in like the 70s where women weren't really you
