Hi, I'm Mary M. Williamson and thank you very much for being with me for this hour.

We're talking about meta physics on the podcast today, meta as in greater than physics.

We all know that there is the three-dimensional world, but Buddha and others, including Einstein,

have said that on some level, the world that we touch with our hands and that we see with

our eyes is actually an illusion.

Now when you embrace that idea from a religious perspective, from a spiritual perspective,

or from a scientific perspective, that doesn't mean you're stupid and that you don't know

that if you drop a book onto the floor that gravity will pull it down, it doesn't mean

that you don't understand that car crashes happen, it doesn't mean that you don't understand

that you can't walk too close to the cliff because you might fall over.

It just means that there is more to life than meets the physical eye and that we need

to go further with that realization and what's happening in the world today, including

in the world of science, including in the world of physics, particularly in the world

of physics, quantum physics particularly, is that people are moving beyond the Newtonian

scientific paradigm that dominated the 20th century and opening up to a paradigm of science

in which the primacy and the dominance of consciousness is recognized.

This has profound implications for our lives.

It has profound implications for how we live individually and it has profound implications

for how we live collectively.
