With over 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, literacy

coach, and district administrator, Sean knows firsthand how low literacy rates often go unnoticed

and are part of a culture of low expectations. We talk about the importance of all students

reading at grade level and what it takes to accomplish that. He believes this issue is one of the most important civil rights issues of our day.
