Summary

Hi there TSP listening people. Bit of a different one this week. To mark World Suicide Prevention day, we've taken a slight detour from the norm to talk to two people about a pretty weighty film and some pretty weighty subjects. We shouldn't really go too much further without mentioning that this episode comes with some trigger warnings. There's a lot of discussion about, and descriptions of, suicide. If you're not feeling like you're in a headspace where you can deal with that then it might be wise to give this one a miss. Anyway, this week, Craig is talking to Cristian Solimeno and Tania Bruce, both of whom are heavily involved with fantastic film 'I Made This For You'. You can watch it for free here on YouTube - https://youtu.be/SWLhoUr2vCM We won't say too much more about this ep, but if you are affected by the subjects mentioned please seek help through the following resources - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/suicide/ Let's keep talking - TSP X Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/twoshotpod. 0:05.3

podcast sit yourself down pop the cat along we're gonna have a nice old chat

0:09.4

who's in with this week I'm going to tell you right now. How the devil are you? Are you well? Keeping good news. Now as you know when we started to come back I did say might be

0:38.8

slightly bumpy we might not be a% there with our back to Thursday schedule and that's just the way it's

0:47.9

going to be.

0:49.4

But from next week, yeah, I'm feeling pretty positive that we are going to get back to our

0:56.2

regular Thursday meetups, so I hope you will be joining us. So a bit of a

1:01.7

different one this week. You know how, you know, I don't really have that

1:08.1

many rules on the podcast as such? I want things to be organic and a nice free-flowing safe conversation, but a couple

1:20.0

of friends, old friends got in touch with me who I hadn't spoken to for a long time and one of

1:25.8

them had directed a film and asked me to watch it and it's to mark World Suicide Prevention Day. Now, there are many trigger warnings with this episode.

1:42.0

And it's funny because there's two people on the

1:45.8

podcast this week I've got Christian Solomono first who is the director and

1:50.4

creator of the film and then we'll have a little pause and then we'll

1:55.0

have a little pause and then we're gonna speak to Tanny Bruce who was a support of the

1:59.4

film and with the latter conversation, huge,

2:08.0

huge trigger warnings, we speak about suicide in great detail. Now if you are at all sensitive or

2:23.0

look if you're not feeling up to it basically don't listen just just skip this week but what I would urge you to do is before you listen to this episode and there's a link on

2:36.8

our social media page and also in the blurb of this episode. It's a free link, it's a YouTube link to the film and it's

2:48.1

ultimately life affirming. It's emotional. It's not graphic in its content in any way. I don't want you to worry

2:56.6

about that. But it is emotional. As I say, but it is ultimately a life affirming I watched it in two parts and I think it's

3:07.3

really really beautiful and we kick off talking to Christian and I think I was about the hour, 12 minutes after watching it and we hit record.
