We're doing this though because I read a great book. Okay, our

brains are complicated. Welcome everyone to Fated Mates. I'm Sarah McClain. I read

romance novels and I write them. And I'm Jennifer Prokop, a romance

reader and editor and here's how it works, okay? Sometimes we are like let's do a

trope we love and then we go out and we find the books we love and we do it. And then we go out and we find the books we love and we do it.

And then sometimes we read a book that we want to talk about and we think, well what are the

tropes that are involved in it and then we do that.
