Aaron, what do you think of this episode?

I thought this episode, I watched this episode three point five times because the fourth one was a size, you know, dude all my notes and research in the background.

There's a lot going on. This is, you know, getting back into Westworld form, which means you notice everything and you don't take anything we're granted.

You always remember that this could be at a different timeline, could be in a different plane of reality. The person speaking words could be someone completely different.

Yeah, they're really pointing and hinting at some big things going on that I'm that I'm interested in, you know, primarily the mystery is, you know, what is the nature of Christine's reality?

Um, you know, why what and how and how and why are the is the man in black doing the things he's doing for the behest of Chaloris, what's Chaloris is overall plan for humanity, what's up at the flies in the black you like this early stage Westworld and I think it's done about as well as you can do it.

Um, I am, I'll re register my reluctance and skepticism to go back into a Westworld, a, you know, 1920s temperance, whatever you want to call it, especially since it seems like everyone's got their eyes open about what they're doing like Maeve and Caleb know exactly what they're walking into William is obviously going to know that they're there.

Um, it feels like I don't, I don't know what the point of doing that is, but, you know, I'm, I'm content to see what next week has a store because it looks like we're going to get back to Bernard, which is another thing I'm super interested in.

So I'm, I'm digging it. How about you?

Yeah, I think this episode has one of the best scenes I can remember in Westworld with that man of black playing golf scene.

Yeah, extremely well written scene.

Um, and I was thrilled watching it for the third time even.

Uh, I, I was, I guess I have to recalibrate again on this show because I was totally wrong about William being dead at the end of last season, even though you see his throat cut, even though you see him slump to the floor.

At this point, there is no death. I will believe on this show period, none because humans can be both physically preserved in cryogenic states.

Humans can be duplicated and copied as a host. Humans can be recorded, uh, their brain patterns and put into a host as a human that there is no possible death on this show is my new calibration.

Um, yeah. So, so every time someone, you know, slumps over on screen, I'm going to laugh like anesthesia.

Not dead. Not fucking even even if you disintegrate someone at the atomic level and have a scientist there with an electron fucking scanning microscope saying, yep, they got disintegrated.

Um, all a host has to do is think about the human long enough and develop a long enough long enough term program of fidelity and you can bring them back in some fashion.

So yes, there is nothing that can be fatal to a host or human, which, you know, has us going back to like even as Dolores dead is Christina torture version of Dolores that's, you know, they're trying to tease out some aspect of humanity for.

They essentially did disintegrate her. They, they mentally disintegrated her. Yes. And all of us, they didn't believe it. I still will not believe it. Um, yeah.
