Summary

In this powerful episode, we dive deep into the choices that define our lives: Will we trust in man and live a cursed life, or place our trust in the Lord and flourish like a tree planted by the water? Rooted in Jeremiah 17:5-8, we unpack the stark contrast between relying on human strength and surrendering fully to God’s will.

Through personal reflections, biblical examples, and real-life analogies (yes, even house-hunting nightmares!), we explore what it means to truly trust in God—not just on the surface, but with every fiber of our being.

Expect spiritual gut-checks, encouragement, and practical steps to cultivate a heart deeply rooted in faith. If you’ve ever wrestled with control, comparison, or fear of the unknown, this episode is for you.

Let’s trade fear for faith, self-reliance for holy dependence, and barren living for a life that bears lasting fruit.

So today, I encourage you to take the next step toward a fully rooted, fully surrendered, and fully blessed life in Christ.

Go Rise Up!

So today's episode is my speech called A Heart Rooted in Trust. I'm focusing on Jeremiah 17 verses 5 through 8. The Lord draws a striking contrast, a life that withers in the wilderness

when trust is placed in human strength, versus a life that flourishes by the streams of his living

water. So I ask the question, which life are you living? And this isn't just another message. It's

1:02.3

supposed to be a spiritual wake-up call, a moment to pause and reflect, where have you been placing

1:08.4

your trust? And when the storm hits, do you stand firm or do you

1:12.0

crumble? God is calling us to be rooted in him to trust beyond what we see and beyond what we feel

1:18.7

and beyond our own understanding. A faith that flourishes even in drought, a trust that never runs dry.

1:26.3

So I pray that this is encouragement to you to lean in,

1:29.6

to open your heart, and step into the fullness of God's promises for you and your life. Because

And our life, yes, has been a whirlwind since November, and as you can imagine,

and I mean it was already a whirlwind before, but when I had the blessing of speaking to Michelle
