In the eighth episode of British Murders Season 3, I tell the tragic story of Bill Williamson and his killer Ann Browning.
Bill was 82 when he was murdered by 53-year-old Ann.
He was convinced by her to sell his home and to move in with her.
On the same day the house sale was completed, Bill moved in with Ann and was brutally killed by her.
Ann was sentenced to life imprisonment in August 2011 with a minimum term of 25 years.

0:00.0 | Welcome to British murders, a true crime podcast with a focus on British murder cases. |
0:17.7 | My name's Stuart Blues, and I'm excited for you to join me on this journey of |
0:21.1 | morbid discovery. I'm by no means an expert on the subjects of homicide and serial killers. |
0:26.8 | However, I have always had a sick fascination with them. Together, we will learn about some of the |
0:31.9 | lesser-known British murderers, as well as glimpsing occasionally at some of the more notorious |
0:36.3 | ones. The bite-sized presentation of this podcast is intentional, |
0:40.8 | as we look to cover an overview of the respective timelines of each case succinctly. |
0:52.4 | Hello everyone and welcome again to British Murders. I'm your host Stuart Blues and this is now the eighth episode of season three. |
1:01.1 | Before we get right into it this week, I want to introduce a new segment of the show. |

1:16.4 | she's only just turned three. My YouTube viewers will be able to see this but for the benefit of my |
1:22.4 | audio only listeners I'm holding in my hand what looks like a deck of playing cards. However, on each of |
1:29.1 | the 50 cards, it contains a random dad fact that every dad should know, rather than a number |
1:36.3 | within one of four different suits. I do realize that playing cards have 52 cards as opposed |
1:42.4 | to 50, by the way way before anyone jumps in with a |
1:45.3 | magical correcting comment. I've no idea what these facts are, as I've only read them once, |
1:51.6 | but the box says they are facts that all dads should know. It does say that, as you can see, |
1:58.5 | facts every dad should know. |
2:03.4 | I'm telling you right now, I won't know any of these. |
2:05.2 | So let's have a look. |
2:06.7 | I'm going to do one at random. |
